11th Employer Conference in the Works
Wilmington, Del. July 9, 2014 – Delaware
employers looking for answers to many of the complex questions they face, will find
the perfect opportunity at an upcoming autumn conference, said Delaware
Secretary of Labor, John J, McMahon Jr.
“We will hold our
11th Employer Conference this fall,” Sec. McMahon said. “With so
much going on in Delaware, we thought it important to have a forum to
disseminate this valuable information.”
The 11th
Employer Conference is set for October 23, 2014 at Wilmington’s Chase Center on
the Riverfront and the menu of content reads like a hot topics list.
“Employers may
have to make some tough choices about which “can’t miss” sessions to attend,”
he said. “We plan to cover the waterfront from Workers Compensation,
Unemployment Insurance updates, and a look at our dynamic new labor exchange
system where employers and job seekers find each other.”
The Delaware
Department of Labor will announce a final schedule of events and will open
registrations in early August.
