Good Morning All:
The Delaware Department of Labor’s 11th Employer Conference will begin its gut busting marketing effort on or about August 1, 2014. Right now we are fine tuning our presentation descriptions to ensure employers and small business owners can make the best use of their time on 28 October. Brochures are being prepared and logos being dusted off. Final plans are being made for outreach efforts and review our marketing plans.
We are planning a big guest speaker, but it is too early to comment on that yet.
We have our first press release ready to go. It is on my LinkedIn site. We will be pushing it out to local media I the next day or two. We will follow it with other announcements highlighting cool additions to the event that aren’t quite ripe yet.
The current list of presentations include an update in workers compensation; the recently redesigned Delaware Job Link at joblink.delaware.gov; how to tap into the goldmine of veterans returning home; unemployment insurance updates; and a host of other important topics.
