Project Planning

For the next 100 days this committee I am chairing will plan, market, and execute the Delaware Department of Labor’s 11th Employer Conference set for October. It might be interesting and maybe instructive to keep a running diary of the ups and downs of putting all this together. 

I am lucky that the Employer Outreach committee is made up of wonderful, talented folks (not me of course) who are creative and excited about putting this event on.

I am also working on a fund raising team for the Delaware Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night event -- also set for October. The team is called “Team Liz for Life.” Our goal is to raise money for a good cause, have fun, and maybe educated some folks along the way. 

Anyway my plan is to blog about these activities and then post the blog link to my LinkedIn account. My hope is to raise wariness about both of these events and to maybe gets some tips and help along the way. Not only that, but at least I will be putting out some substantive posts.
